If you are going Friday do not let this fact influence you impressions. Also, you must call ahead so they know you are coming, and they can give you the address too.
Transportation if you do not have your own car might be tricky both ways, maybe you should arrange a drive, or go with someone else carpooling.
The average crowd is 40+, but you'll find some lovely couples in their 20s-30s too (if that is what you are looking for).
